I think humans are actively making existence worse. As long as humans exist, everything else, whether it lives or not, is damned to a horrible fate. We murder plants and animals. We waste water, and the water we don't waste is poisoned. We force animals into captivity for their resources. Those are just a few examples, there are many more things that won't fit in one post. We're basically a plague on this planet. Sure, there are groups that advocate for less harmful practices, but it's too little too late at this point. The damage has already been done, and we are to blame. All of this is not even to mention all of the harm we do to ourselves. If you were to ask me what course of action I think we should take, you would probably find the answer uncomfortable. So much so that I had to heavily censor this entire post to even get it out at all. That really just shows how willingly ignorant we all are. Yes, I include myself in that "all".
