my ex messaged me a few months ago. we’ve been on-and-off dating since middle/high school, and we’re in our twenties now. we always ended up breaking up because he tends to ghost when his mental health is bad, and consistency is a huge priority for me. Anyway, he messages me saying he really wants to give our relationship another shot. I introduce him to some of my friends, have him over at my apartment, and put up with his huge ego, and he STILL leaves me! He texted me today saying I don’t take him seriously, which is hilarious, because if anything I’VE been putting way more effort into rebuilding our relationship than he has. Just frustrated and shocked at the audacity to come back into my life and make promises of dates, outings, and even MARRIAGE, just to leave?!? I know i deserve better but man he’s kinda irreplaceable….. he made me laugh so much….
