My grades dropping due to my mental health, but I am still an average student. As least as of now. I don't have to worry about failing, thankfully, but I do miss the potential I used to have. Weirdly enough, I was chosen to represent my school for a team maths challenge, which to me feels like a glimmer of hope. Maybe my potential hasn't completely died. I was still fast enough at maths to make the team, but if I am truly smart enough, why does regular schoolwork seem to be taxing me so much? The selection feels like a salvation as much as a mockery, and the former student I desperately have tried to mummify and reanimate is maybe hasn't completely withered away yet. I can only hope my efforts weren't put of waste. I have to do better. I simply don't see the worth of continuing to waste my potential, and I am getting desperate if all of this fails. I don't have much else I am good for, frankly, so I just can only pray I can turn my grades around. Wish me luck for the competition!
