See, I have nothing against you. I think you’re a cool person and i would love to date you, but when you’re showing signs of being interested in someone else and this would obviously make people back off so they’d set out to find someone else. Instead of accepting it, you’re annoyed they’re not into you anymore. It’s like, you want multiple people to have romantic feelings towards you but can’t reciprocate to any one of them. Isn’t that what narcissism is about? You can’t keep a person under your watch and get insights about them when you do not want anything from them. They’re not your lab rats. Treat them as humans
