Was talking to some friends we're all early 20s and they go yeah I'm not going to vote in the upcoming election(UK based) because "all party people might turn out to be evil and I don't want that weighing on me :3" like girl we barely had the vote for a hundred years use it and also the fact you don't vote shows that older people especially those at retirement age have a louder voice which means parties are going to frame a lot of policies and decision making around the older generation and fuck us over! Like my friends, they're super smart and know about issues effecting people they care about and their culture but they still refuse to let their voices be heard due to the possibility notion they could fuck something up by voting like its just as bad not to vote at least now you can have more choice.
