I have a friend who I’ve known since elementary 4th grade, we always texted each other even though after elementary we went to separate schools, she was like my only consistent friend and now after high school and in my college years she’s one of the 3 only friends I have. Recently I’ve felt like she doesn’t want to text me or engage with me anymore. She’s been leaving me on delivered longer than she usually does and is being dry over text. I don’t know why and if it has to do with her making new friends at her recent job. I’ve suspected for a while that she’s kinda like me where we don’t have friends that much since I never saw or heard her say before this that she would be hanging out with friends. But now that she has friends from her job it feels like she’s sidelining me? It just sucks because I feel like our friendship means more to me than it does to her, like she could drop me at any moment and not care for doing it. Like can years of friendship rlly not mean anything to her?
