Whoever is making the rants of feeling unsympathetic and irritated towards rape victims I’m really sorry with what you went through. I truly cannot imagine the assault you could’ve faced to where your response to others is shaming them for how they’re treating their pain. I cannot fathom you yourself haven’t been harmed and this is the unfortunate mindset you have embedded as a survival response. For there to be so many other young women speaking up out their experiences, how their sadness and anger are expressed in a way that makes them vulnerable, how it’s seemingly so many women who have been assaulted. It makes it seem like women are a constant target to rape. However, that bitterness and frustration is not being directed in a way that’ll ever have you feeling less outraged. Rapists are at fault and they are the ones who are continuing to harm more women, hurting them, making them afraid and feel stuck feeling threatened. I’m sorry you’ve been hurt but the victims are not the enemy
