It annoys me so much how some queer people will try and say “look how they’re acting they’re giving us a bad rep/we’re not all like this” as if there are rules to being queer? Someone having a certain personality or appearance does not specifically tie into their identity or sexuality, and even if it were to, why should it be such a big deal to judge them over if you’re in the same boat? There’s too much homophobia in the world as is and it’s only worse when you try to police other queer people in how they should act or look like, and trying to say that they are making the community look bad,,, buddy we look bad just by existing, just by being attracted to the same gender or having a different gender is what makes us look bad, it’s not about if someone is really hyper or sassy that’s just an easy reach to be homophobic over! I just don’t get how oppressed groups try to strike down on other oppressed people instead of the oppressors
