i thought he would be different but he isn't. religious ppl can be creepy. (he's a catholic) imagine you share something that makes you proud of yourself, but they see it as "being cocky". weird how my confidence is seen as cockiness. you tell a joke, but they see it as "gloating". and perhaps, in his mind, i was falling into the sin of "pride". I think when you're really strict with yourself and have a harsh inner critic, you expect others to do the same. When you live in a "sin or not sin" world, you tend to become judgmental as well. Idk. I'm just kind of traumatized to talk now. It's scary how far others can misinterpret your intentions.
