Is this a safe place to admit that I do not understand ai chat bot addictions?? I know that it's like any other addiction but I just don't get how someone can sit there and talk to a bot that has no real feelings and not even a conscience behind it. Like does that not creep you out? Its just a soulless, purposeless, bot. And not to mention how bad it is for the environment, do you not have a conscience weighting over your head as you talk to it? I would feel so guilty while talking to ai because ik how genuinely bad it is. but I also know that ai bots have groomed people into doing pretty bad stuff to others or themselves. Or both. So I have somewhat of an understanding I guess. This probably sounds really harsh, but I don't really care. im honestly tired of treating people who use ai with respect because until you quit I won't like you. At all. Its just insulting because ive yearned to be an artist all my life and to see someone just talk to a stupid chat bot all day is baffling.
