(2/2) care, but I personally refuse to be anything but cordial acquaintances with someone who is friendly with a bully just because they have no spine as the rest of my other coworkers who have drunk the bully's koolaid of lies, manipulation, and rumor mongering. I would sooner rather touch an infected zombie than be friends with someone who claims they are only 'choosing to be jovial with everyone at work' and thinking 'you attract more flies with honey than vinegar', as if that will actually gain you any favors from someone whom I know at their core is a very self-centered, vindictive, manipulative person. Also, the next time you get called into the office, I'm no longer going to be that 'other person' you can whisper with about who falsely reported you or what you think you are in trouble for. You have demonstrated to me that you are someone whom I've got wrong, someone who is a coward who licked the bully's shoes to get in her good graces and is actually not worthy of my respect.
