To be told that a man won’t date you because you’re trans is one thing It’s another when the man HIMSELF has stated he dates people regardless of their gender identity, and you’re being told this. By someone who says they “support you” “His last ex was a man, so he’s gay, and he won’t like you because you’re not enough of a man for him.” It’s weird asf because why are you trying to place a strict sexuality onto him, and why are you telling me that regardless of how he identifies that because I’m trans I don’t have a chance to begin with. Especially if in the instance he came out as gay, that I’d still not be “man enough.” I also understand that there are physical aspects to the difference in being cis and trans that some people prefer in their partners having, especially since I have not had surgeries yet, but the guy has dated people of different genders…he said so himself…so to try and say I don’t have a chance because of me being trans is just so deflating and unnecessary
