I'm going home - I can stay in the states for another 9 months and I could potentially make decent money (we're talking 1.2-2k a week). But staying here would mean all my attention would go towards: rent, applying for a license, figuring transport out - the last two might mean nothing by the end of the 9 months too since I'd most likely be heading home at that point. Meaning I won't have as much time to focus on my long-term career. Going home means I don't have to worry about any of that and can focus solely on my long-term career, which could mean a better chance at staying in the states past those 9 months. Going forward sometimes means taking a step back - it's a lot scarier when you're walking all the way back across the globe though.
