i have a good job, good as in, i like it & the pay is enough that most of our bills can be paid & we have a roof over our head. my partner doesn't work, he takes care of our children & due to worsening health problems is currently applying for disability. i rely on the state to help pay for food. i had to submit my renewal back in august, i did, & received a notice that if any additional information was needed, they'd let me know. find out they closed my case without telling me, no reason given. when i (finally) reach someone, they need xyz thing (never told me this & never had to give it before but ok, fine) no benefits for september (very hard month) but i submit the information they wanted & snap was listed as active, that meant october would be better. then, suddenly, it's closed again. no messages, no notices, no idea why. i'm just so frustrated by the process & how hard it is to prove that, yes! my family needs help to survive & i wish i didn't have to do this!
