i have been to 9 different schools from elementary to high school and moved houses 5 times in that timeframe. in all of my schools i have made good friends, and for the most part lost contact with them due to being young with no means of communication. in 9th grade, i moved across the continent, but managed to hold on and stay in contact with the friends i met in middle school. i remember most of my friendships, good and bad, short and long, bff or mutual. up until about 4th grade i stayed at the same elementary school and was truly happy, but then covid happened, a lot of family stuff happened, and i started moving and switching schools a lot from there. in 7th grade i did end up going to the middle school everybody from my original elementary school ended up at and was happy, but then switched schools a month later due to a small comment to my mom that made her resolve into having me switch. i wish i could go back to that point and never have said anything. i miss my friends
