This isn't a rant, really, but felt like I should share something good. Despite it being rainy, yet not at the hyperbolic level the magnifiers over at The Weather Channel, and meteorologists in general (Do you know you hit the lottery when you can't lose your job despite being constantly wrong?), all I did was eat out and just primarily walk around my neighborhood, full of immigrants of all nationalities and like the whole world in a few blocks, I was able to say hi and not be treated like shit, I was treated like royalty at a Latin restaurant, which serves half American fare, half Guatemalan, of which I will try later. I was able to give them business advice and just talk to them about life stuff, and watch a nice soccer game in Spanish, of which I do not know the language, but I feel so much at home with, with a close second being Arab/Muslim restaurants. I feel real good, which realistically will only last this day, but it really makes me wanna do this more so I don't feel hated.
