my mother cheated on my father when i was young. they stayed together but they were never happy after that. i only found out about a month ago when my dad had a few drinks and told me. my mum doesn’t know that i know and i’ve never told a single soul about it ever since. not even my younger sibling, i just don’t want to get her involved, as i know she will probably be angry at our mum and confront her. i don’t want any problems. it was probably over 10 years ago now, but it still plays on my mind now that im really the only person who knows.
