I'm scared to vote because my dad watches FOX every single day and barely works while my mom pulls 60 hour weeks and whenever he gets into any type of political discussion he gets very whiny and condescending. I don't have a problem with him disagreeing I just can't believe how entitled he gets. It's as if I am not allowed to breathe the same air as him. And I'm not scared of getting in trouble for voting differently necessarily, I am more scared of how indoctrinated and uneducated I might be and possibly never "unlearn" it to make the "correct" voting decision. It's a silent weight I carry because I am not strong enough to stand for my own opinion in the face of all opposition. That's the stuff revolutions are made of, and I'm just a nobody.
