I unfortunately live in a religious state and pretty much every girl I know has kids right now. Which is fine, what frustrates me though is how against birth control the women in my life are. My mom for years talked against me from getting bc because it "doesn't work" when my mom got pregnant because she "got sick of taking pills" so it DOES work you were just lazy. Then my old friend who has 4 kids had asked me how I have a bf and not pregnant yet, I told her birth control and she immediately rambled to me that it doesn't work, it'll fail one day, and even grossly said "I hope you get pregnant one day so you'll see the truth" 🤢 By the way she's told me she's never used bc or a condom before 💀 idk, just something dumb that's been pissing me off lately.
