This past week, I got a fucking lecture of over a half hour and missed my lunch because my boss didn't like the fact I used the word refuse, and supposedly had a tone with it which I know I did not as I make sure to behave as corporately as I can while still getting my point across. That really fucked me up that it took the weekend to get over it. I need to care more about other people's feelings and can't use that word, I have to use different phrasing but more words. So me getting electrocuted to do a task I wasn't hired to do, and saying it politely and professionally. is offensive to you because it just meant "No" to you? Yeah, I'm only in it for the money now.
