Being closeted queer in a Christian (+1 Catholic I think) family sucks. My grandparents are homophobic, my grandfather says lgbtq wrong when leaving a comment about it, I feel like they'd be "pray the gay away" and throw me in a church if they found out, my mom tries to be supportive. Couple years back I came out as lesbian, she was supportive which is like THANK GOD of whoever would listen, but then a couple days later she acted homophobic because my grandmother did. But I'm also not lesbian anymore, and I hate to say this but I was confused and just had a friend crush (who moved away like nooo), I'm aroace now, I want to come out but idk how, I feel like she'd be confused abt it. And gender's confusing, I don't wanna be a girl but I love my name, I wanna come off as not a girl but then my grandparents wouldn't like that. I have a bi friend, but my other friend had trouble with that, but she's supportive now so that's good
