My parents when I say the joke or comment they just made was harmful and not okay: BUT...BUT I'M A GOOD PERSON!! I'm not racist/homophobic/transphobic/sexist/fatphobic/ableist!! How dare you imply such a thing you must HATE ME. Didn't you know that it's okay for me to say that slur, since I'm one of the GOOD cishet able-bodied white people? Didn't you know it's okay for me to bodyshame her, since she's a bad person? Didn't you know that it's okay for me to make fun of gay people, since I'm an ally?
