Something comical. At work, well, everyone knows about 9-11. I wish to just forget about it and not constantly rip scabs and bleed to pay homage to that day and retraumatize, but I guess that makes me anti American and a terrorist or some dumb shit. Anyway, a nice patriotic terrestrial, ie radio station my co worker turns on which plays 80s & 90s music decided they'd do their own idea of "honoring" the memory of 9-11. How? By playing Earth, Wind & Fire's "September!" I almost cracked the fuck up at just how tone deaf that was. Yes, let's do the equivalent of celebrating on some dead person's grave! Holy shit, how crass and tacky.
