moving in with my boyfriend was the biggest mistake i've ever made. he is horrible with money (which he barely has) and he complains about me not treating this like a "shared space" but he only does things when HE needs it. If HE needs laundry done, he'll do it and if my clothes just so happen to be in there then I'm lucky. If HE needs a specific dish cleaned he'll do the dishes. But anything I need help with (doing the dishes after i've cooked or putting away clothes) then I'm the one who lets things pile up and its an eyesore for him. Like, maybe get up and help. When I go to the grocery store, I'll think about him and get him something he might want, but he could go anywhere in the world and not even think to pick something up for me. I don't hound him for gifts or flowers or literally anything. But if I were to bring this up to him, he would say we're just two different people and we think differently and show our care differently (which is his excuse for everything!!!).
