Literally fuck the US tax system. I've tried for 4 months to get clarity and assistance on a tax issue. (we purchased a house from an alien, and in my state that requires the purchaser to ensure that some tax money was withheld and submitted to the IRS from the seller). Stupidest fucking rule. Regardless the money was withheld and sent, but the IRS applied it to the sellers and not us. SO they thing we owe them a lot of money. Everyone I talk to on the phone treats me like I'm an idiot, they can't find the account, they don't know what I'm talking about, or I get hung up on. So fuck the IRS, fuck the US tax system. Fuck the government for gutting the IRS so that I can't get in touch with anyone that knows WTF they're doing.
