I like my mom, I don't love her, not at all. Same with my grandma, I like her but not love her. If they weren't my family and I was the same ages as either one, I would never be friends with them. Is it bad that I hate them? Absolutely, but in my opinion, I feel like it's more about me maturing. I used to love them a lot, never saw a single flaw within them but as I got older, I could point out a few of their faults. My grandma is a manipulator, I hate her. She guilt-trips me then yells at me when I don't fall for it, she then 'uses' me as a therapist (telling me her issues) and tried to talk me out of therapy (never got it btw). My mom, who I thought I could relate to because she was the middle child and ignored constantly. No. She cries about how we're negative all the time then when I try to joke with her, she gets all offensive and calls me and my sister rude. I try really hard to see their positive aspects but they make it too difficult. I don't care, I'll always hate them.
