I don't like this generation I'm part of (Gen Z)... We act like we care about all the problems but in reality, we are lying every single fucking day. I lie that "I care about global warming!" in reality, I'm pretty sure no one can give a flying fuck about it. We act like we care and that we will act upon that but realistically? We're just gonna rant about the shit on TikTok or smth. We are the definition of the Bystander effect. I'm NOT saying every Gen Z is like this, but majority of us are so lazy our biggest problem is our PR. The worst part is that we offload the guilt and blame to the corporations as if their gonna do shit either. We act like at least "we're a little bit better" but COME ON! I probably won't be going to a protest or start a petition or bike anytime soon... in short, we just lie about our worries (again, not everyone but prob majority) for others to view us as good.
