Lately I've hated my aromanticism. Maybe its all the romance media I've been consuming(isn't it just so cute to see two people in love tho?), or maybe cause its so hard to explain to others without really sounding like an prick, but it is frustrating. Don't get me wrong, I like that there is a label for people like me. People that don't really feel romantic love towards others, but I just wish it came more easy when finding a partner. Maybe its cause I can't find the right words to explain it. I do care for others, I do want to eventually live in a house with someone and be able to call them 'my person', but things that are usually friend hangouts to me, like going to movies or getting ice cream or shopping, seen in a form of a 'date' frustrate me, and I really dont know why. I want to go into a date with the mindset that I will have fun with a person, yet if someone's even a little touchier with me than my friends are, I immediately want to run off.
