"Demons" and "angels" come from the same celestial caste. They are actually called Malakim. If you find a man named Malik his name means "divine" like the Malakim. Women can be named Marika, Mariam, or Mary with similar implications. That is why "Mary" (Mariam) gave birth to the divine christ in the christian mythos. To be a Malakim is to be like a djinn where djinn are bound to the nature of wind, earth, and water the Malakim are bound to the celestial realm above in the stars. They are not like the pleasant pictures of human-like winged creatures. They are beautiful the way a black hole is beautiful. Powerful and otherworldly. The "demons" are those who do not follow the order of heaven. Those Malakim choose their nature instead of obeying the nature assigned to them and so they seem to resist fate itself.
