I hate how much tatty costume jewellery exists, I hate that is uses resources, I hate that it was made by people who work for pennies a day, I hate how far it has to travel to get here, I hate how much of it is in the shops where most of it probably won't even be sold, I hate how easily it breaks and even the ones that don't break get thrown away. Second-hand, upcycled or repaired jewellery doesn't count here. It's already in circulation. I wonder if it's normal to feel like this? I feel totally normal but most people around me don't seem to care
