My friend group is so fragile and it’s all because of one person, which I don’t want to let go but should. My friend, who I’ll name Mason, has been one of my closest friends all throughout middle school, He did something really stupid in the beginning of 8th grade. That being that he made a “hit list” of people he hated and posted it to his public TikTok account for the world to see posing as ghostface from Scream. Obviously people at our school found out and reported him to the admins which promptly expelled him for the rest of the school year. He since then got therapy and has genuinely bettered himself, obviously he didn’t actually want to kill these people. But now schools starting in 2 weeks and he’s coming back to school where nobody will forget what he’s done. All of his other friends have blocked him and are going to avoid him except me and I’m wondering if I should follow suit, I was definitely his closest friend. I’ve been thinking about this for a while.
