I'm a teenager, and I was born into a religious household. Ever since I was born, religion has always been a part of my life. Going to church, praying, and believing in God were just normal to me because that's how I was raised. For years, I considered myself a religious person without ever questioning it. Looking back, I feel like I've spent so much of my life being a people-pleaser. I always tried to meet everyone's expectations, even if it meant ignoring my own thoughts. As I got older, I started asking questions about my beliefs. Instead of finding answers, I became more confused. It wasn't something that happened overnight. It took time, and it became one of the biggest struggles I've faced. I don't believe in God now, and lately I've been struggling a lot with religion, missing church and clearly shifting away. It's been difficult trying to understand what I truly believe after spending my whole life believing something else.
