Someone about 2 months ago said that they liked me. They gave an entire heartfelt confession and everything, so I said sure because I hadn't tried talking to someone in a while. The first week or so was great, then they immediately got more distant after the first week. Other than that first week me and him have only had a full conversation 2 times in 4 months. He'll take 3-4 days to respond to my texts and then say he's super busy with school stuff and his job. But he graduated about 2 weeks ago and it's been the same pattern. His friends tried to explain to me that he has "avoidant attachment.'' but being scared of doing something wrong and just completely ignoring me are two different things, because he'll see me text him when he's online and then never respond even after staying on for another few hour. Even tried making plans to hang out and stuff, but it never happened because they just forgot it and never rescheduled. I'd rather just be alone if I have to do this anymore dawg
