Me and this girl met through a mutual friend that we play music with, the three of us. Immediately, we hit it off and begun talking almost every day over FaceTime and Discord. After about a month of a talking stage, I ask her out and she says yes. For the last six months, everything has been perfect. We haven’t argued one time, we agree on almost everything, we are very open and communicate well with one another, etc. The only problem was that I was always the one to engage when it came to romantic stuff. Nothing outrageous, just basic compliments and small gifts here and there. Looking back, I can only remember two times she ever complimented me. Anyways, the other day, she texts me asking to call and talk about something. She breaks up with me, stating that she realized she’s not ready for a relationship right now, which we had been in for the last six months. it came out of nowhere and it hurts so bad, I saw a future with her and now she wants to just go right back to being friends.
