I feel sometimes unsafe living with my dad but I legit have nowhere else to go for the summer as it's my only option as to where to live during my summer breaks for college and while my friends don't live too far I can't hang out like every day to escape and I have no other family nearby. My dad often yells at my step mom and it doesn't matter what she does. If she disagrees with him, he gets mad. If she agrees with him all the time, he gets mad. If she does what he wants but somehow "does it wrong" it makes him mad. If she doesn't do something bc of how he'll react he gets mad. The other day literally they were blowing up some wake-board thing for the water and he got upset in a nutshell he said she's "doing it the lazy way" and called her both the n word and the r slur (note my dad isn't black he's part peurto Rican but that's it) and when she started to cry bc of his blow up he told her "go cry it's what you do best" and today something similar happened and he was throwing stuff.
