It's so frustrating being a queer Muslim bc not only do I have to hide it from my entire family, but I get no benefit. No pride month, no drag shows, nothing. I can't even apply to LGBTQ+ scholarships because I am terrified of them finding out if I win, while I watch my friends around me get them. I don't even feel comfortable telling them I'm asexual, which is by far the least risky thing to come out as. Life sucks.
