Why do people say "great weather today". How am I supposed to respond "oh yeah, thanks, I prayed to God for 12 hours yesterday to ensure the sun was visible. I even did a sun dance ritual and commanded the sun personally to be extra bright". Like mate, that is the most useless conversation starter ever. You know I have to spend the rest of the day in this building, and you do too. I'm not going to even see the sun. Plus, why is the sun the only "good" weather. Why is the rain "bad weather"? A flower needs both sunshine and rain to grow. If you want there to be no rain, go to the desert. What's next? "Good wind direction today"? Yeah, it seems to be blowing mostly southward. Now let me get back to work.
