i cant find a post grad job. everyone has pushed me to get this big shiny degree and i still have yet to land a single interview. everyone wants you to have 5+ years of experience but i cannot get that without a first job. ive worked in restaurants since i was 18, ive put myself through school, and now im still in the service industry. i cant escape it. i got a masters in may as well. i feel like the biggest disappointment. my family keeps comparing me to other people they know and how they got jobs (ie nursing, teaching, lawyers, etc) my applied data science degree was supposed to set me apart from others, not hold me back from getting a job. im still living at home. i have basically no freedom as well. this man i met through the service industry wrote me a referal for his company to apply as an assistant project manager. hes been telling me for weeks how i would be a perfect fit, just to apply and be rejected not even 24 hours later. im lost. im depressed. and i simply dk what to do.
