im so tired of ai ive always loved art, all mediums. Ive just always loved to create things in drawing and writing, while i dont make music i admire those who do. I love creativity. ive always wanted to be an artist when i grow up. an illustrator, animator, an author. i want to have a comic series one day, an animated show if im being honest. but why even dream of becoming anything like that if ai is already here? have you seen what it can do? we used to say that ai art has no soul, that we can always tell when its ai, and while its true that it has no soul or effort put into it, we cant always tell. theres been times that ai has genuinely fooled me and that bums me out. why even try if all of my years of learning probably wont even amount to anything? i can easily be replaced by a robot who can make art better than mine in seconds. whats even the point of continuing to learn anatomy, colour theory, character design, animation if all of those things can be recreated easily by ai?
