Hey there! Born in NYC, raised in Staten Island. I wish people would realize that Staten Island isn’t just “white people and conservatives” cuz I know godamn well it isn’t just that. You could not pay me a quadrillion dollars to support that bitchass orange man. Sure there are more conservatives in SI than like all the boroughs but like it’s not alarming? Staten Island is like a middle thing. It’s not as suburban as NJ but not as “city” as say Manhattan or Brooklyn. There are definitely majority white people but that’s changing. I know that there is no real prominent landmark or attraction, but that just makes it better to live in. Less tourists… and more turkeys. There is a certain home feeling only a person who lives there feels? Perhaps that makes me feel so good about this borough, that it may be really flawed? Idk. Feel free to tell me your perspective/opinion and have a damn good day :)
