I wish I didn't join the IB. I thought doing the program would fix my life or something. when I moved schools halfway through highschool in a whole new city, I was nobody. I wasn't the girl in the top class in extracurriculars where her peers respected her and the teachers liked her. In fact, I felt like an outsider and the teachers weren't giving me the support that I needed. I wanted to prove to myself that I could still do it. Now I'm in the 2nd year of the program and everything sucks. I don't have time for my hobbies anymore, I couldn't pick up a paintbrush or a pen if I tried. Deadlines are always creeping up at me and they're strangling me and I can't breathe. My teachers in the program aren't making it better, maybe it's because they don't know, but fuck some of them even tell us to just suck it up so how am I supposed to come to them for help? no one understands. I feel so burnt out. I have a lot of friends, but none I can come to to talk. This is what I get ig.
