Today I had a great day. Well I did. The whole day I was surrounded by people I loved. I was also feeling so great today that I socialized a lot. So when the time came to go home my whole mood just flipped. I didn't get to go to a club that meant a lot to me because my dad told me I had a therapy appointment today. We'd been going to so many already with new therapists that I was tired of the same cycle. The appointment got canceled. So I missed the activity at the club. It was for art. The thing is it wouldn't have bothered me so much if my dad just told me no from the start. He's always been that way. He never gave me straight answers. He never cared about how I felt. All he cared about was how I was more successful than my siblings and how perfect I am to him. It's all he's ever done. Just compare and compare and compare. Over and over again. Like I'm not even a person to him, I'm just something he can brag about. But when it comes to anything I want? It's always going to be a no.
