am currently enrolled in ROTC at my high school which is a class I really care about and want to succeed our strictest rules is that every single Wednesday is uniform day We are required to wear our full uniform properly for the entire school day to pass our inspection and maintain our standing in the unit It’s something I take seriously because the instructors hold us to a very high standard of discipline and accountability Unfortunately, things just went completely downhill at home My mom and I got into a huge explosive argument over something entirely unrelated to school The tension was incredibly high and out of anger she told me that she is absolutely not letting me wear my uniform to school this Wednesday She has completely put her foot down and because she is my parent I can't just defy her or go behind her back to get it. Now, I am completely terrified My biggest fear is that my instructor is going to think I’m just being disrespectful or going to kick me out.
