Constantly calling every pair of people of the same gender with either 0 chemistry or baseline platonic connection to be “yaoi/yuri” is setting us back into believing that every connection should be romanticized, and that people aren’t able to have a genuine bond unless it leads to intimacy 😐 It’s also really weird to comment things like that on public posts especially if you don’t know the actual people involved because what if the people they know are homophobic and now you’re just planting the idea that they might be homosexual? It’s just really annoying it makes the LGBTQ community look like a total joke and practically fetishized if two people can’t be on screen for one second without some weirdo telling them to kiss
