I love my parents but they are so judgmental and stubborn and sensitive it fucking pisses me off. If I’M struggling with my grades guess who’s crying? Yeah that’s right. Not the kid who was told they’re a disappointment but the MOM who said their performance was ridiculous. They refuse to believe that they’re wrong and only apologize so that life can return to normal and all this tension can just stop. They don’t actually mean they’re sorry, for anything.
