I wish people would stop blaming tourists for the prices going up in their local area. We don't want to pay extortionate prices either. So we don't. We go hungry and thirsty on our travels. We no longer buy souvenirs. We try and go without as much as we can. Because we still want to visit places and open our minds, but now we have to make sacrifices in order to do that because BUSINESSES keep putting prices up. So yeah all these tourists you're getting mad at are walking around dehydrated with empty stomachs trying not to pass out while wishing that the prices were lower too. These greedy companies will lose more and more tourist sales with their ridiculous prices, so they'll have to lower them. Also I love when tourists come to my country and especially my city. I feel honoured that people want to visit the place that I live. Are they driving prices up here? I dunno, I usually just go without here too Not reading your notes btw
