Been told I couldn’t fly, So you’ve all keep me down my whole life. Yet when I was going to die, You all kept me alive. I wanted to die but for you all I endured. Now I’m just broken pieces of what’s remains after treatment and side effects of chemo. Didn’t care for me when I was healthy But when my time was short y’all start showing up. The things I wanted to do the things I wanted to be are not limited. No more dreams no more aspirations On my gravestone shall read here lies me just another name, just another picture in a frame. Somebody who could have been somebody yet his whole life he was told he was nobody. Couldn’t make friend because he was different yet his family said he was fine. The girls he’d like never like him back and said he was not what they were looking for. Not the handsome, tall and funny guy. The playboy who everyone liked or the gloomy guy with no friends. When cancer found me I breathed a sigh of relief. Yet my family cried to me to keep fighting.
