my mom's adult cousin is severely developmentally disabled, and last summer she married a man who has autism. my grandma just told my mom they're planning to have a baby together, and my mom reacted horrified, saying 'no, no, oh no' over and over again, in a way that implied she didn't want them to be allowed to have kids together because they were both neurodivergent/disabled. sounds way too close for comfort to ableist eugenicist thought process for me, who is in fact diagnosed with multiple physical disabilities and mental disorders with more suspected.
