I'm in NYC right now and we are doing the iReady diagnostic. My class is so fucking loud and my teacher is so inexperienced... I got a WAY lower score than my previous grade. I consider myself at least a bit above average but this score decrease is very bad. LIKE GODAMN SHUT THE FUCK UP. Even worse- this school is meant to be a "Gifted and Talented" school but that is a sick stupid joke. There are plenty of students who cannot stop yapping like I wish I had a gun to threaten them to shut up. I seriously wish I had a gun so I can shut these people up forever. I hate strict teachers and I hate dull teachers. This teacher is 100% none of those... She is below the age of 30 and came fresh out of college. I think the ideal teacher is someone who is focused, considerate, and interesting. Maybe that's asking a lot for a terrible American school system. Everybody needs the chance for education but not every child wants to.
