So, I am a semester away from graduating with my AS Health Science. I grew up extremely poor and in and out of foster homes. I thought going to college for something that would get me out of that lifestyle would make my mental health better, however, I still feel so stuck. I live at home and my car just broke down. My family and I live in government housing and it's rough either way. I keep thinking that I am not a good enough Christian because God has given me the worst hand I could get and it upsets me. I try to bring myself out of it and it's like I just get shoved back into it. I want to major in English Literature so I can teach the main passion I have. However, the salary behind that won't give me the life I promised myself. My mental health is at an all-time low almost 24/7. I tried therapy when I was younger but now that I don't have insurance there's no point in paying someone to tell me something as simple as "how does that make you feel". It's like money never came easy.
